Internationella Engelska Skolan Årsta is seeking a full-time textiles teacher to start in August 2026 or by mutual agreement. About the Role The position includes all standard teaching responsibilities such as lesson planning, instruction, grading, and follow-up, as well as mentoring duties for students in one of your classes. You will be available for meetings with parents, students, and colleagues, and will work to uphold IES values and vision. We emphasize learning in a calm environment where school routines and rules are respected by both students and staff. A pleasant atmosphere and strong collaborative climate are key to our success. This foundation allows us to create continuity that guides and supports our students throughout their school years and helps them achieve their goals. Qualifications - Swedish teaching certification or equivalent international teacher training with qualification to teach textiles - Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken - Secure and clear leadership style - Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Experience teaching in international environments is an asset. We believe you are a creative team player with a positive approach to your subject. You are willing to go the extra mile for your students and colleagues and have the skills to create a strong learning environment where your leadership and teaching style are keys to your students' success. You will work closely with your department colleagues and our student support team. Start Date: August 2026 or by mutual agreement. Position Type: Permanent full-time position, 100%.
