Swedish as a Second Language Teacher Position We are seeking an engaged teacher of Swedish as a second language for Internationella Engelska Skolan Karlstad. Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) Karlstad is a school for grades 4-9 with 405 students and 58 employees. The school has an international focus and teaching is conducted in both English and Swedish, depending on the subject. At our school, learning and knowledge are paramount. IES Karlstad is now seeking a Swedish as a Second Language teacher for grades 7-9 at 50%. This is a fixed-term position with the possibility of a permanent contract, starting October 12, 2026. We are primarily looking for someone with appropriate university education and Swedish teaching certification with the authority to teach Swedish as a second language for grades 7-9.
