We are looking for a certified science teacher for grades 4–9, with a planned start in August 2026. Internationella Engelska Skolan in Karlstad opened in 2009 and currently has around 500 students in grades 4-9. As a member of our team, you will be part of a work group where you collaborate together to drive and develop the school. A probationary period of 6 months applies. Your role with us As a teacher, you play an important role in supporting student learning. In addition to planning, delivering, and evaluating instruction, you also serve as a mentor and help students in their personal and social development. You work closely with guardians, colleagues, and the student support team to give each student the best possible conditions to reach their goals. We are looking for you if you - Are a certified teacher with subject authorization in science for grades 4-9. - Are confident in your professional leadership and create a safe and stable environment both in and outside the classroom. - Value and deliver personal, clear, and balanced leadership with a focus on both control and student engagement. - Are an enthusiastic and engaged teacher with a strong desire to contribute to the success of both students and colleagues. - Have experience working in schools and adapting instruction while collaborating with student support and special education professionals. - Feel comfortable teaching and communicating in both Swedish and English.
