About the School Internationale Engelska Skolan Liljeholmen is a compulsory school serving grades F-9 located near Midsommarkransen, with convenient access to both subway and bus. The school was founded in 2014 and currently has over 120 employees and approximately 1,200 students. We want to encourage and support internationally trained teachers joining IES Liljeholmen to both learn Swedish and complete their teacher training to eventually obtain Swedish teacher certification. About the Role Internationale Engelska Skolan Liljeholmen is currently seeking a primary school teacher for grades 4-5, qualified in mathematics, science, and technology. You will be part of the year 4 team, share mentoring responsibilities for a class, teach mathematics to grade 5, and teach science and technology to grade 4. This is a one-year contract through June 2027. Your Profile You are a qualified teacher for the specified subjects and age groups. We hope you understand the importance of building and maintaining good relationships with colleagues, students, and parents. You are motivated to maintain regular contact with parents, lead mentor periods according to our mentoring program, and work collaboratively in a supportive environment. Prior teaching experience is not required, but we value your confidence in your professional leadership and your ability to create a safe and stable environment both inside and outside the classroom. You value and demonstrate personal, clear, and balanced leadership with a focus on both structure and student engagement. As a teacher, you are a clear and active role model.
