About the Role We are a large, multilingual school with 860 students (ages 6-16) and 130 staff members from diverse backgrounds. When our regular staff are absent, we need substitutes for a variety of roles, including: - Teacher substitute - Afterschool care substitute - Substitute in practical roles This is a position based on need for short and medium-term assignments. Our regular substitute team is always considered first for longer assignments, providing excellent opportunities for career development. Who We Are Looking For You don't need to be a certified teacher, but you should be a hardworking, positive, and reliable team player who enjoys working with children. We are looking for someone who: - Has an EU passport or valid work permit for Sweden until at least June 2027. - Is comfortable working in English or Swedish. - Has academic studies or experience working with young people. - Has relevant studies or work experience in teaching, pedagogy, psychology, or social work (these are strong qualifications). - Is engaged, professional, and has a positive personality. You will have the opportunity to indicate your preferences for which roles, subjects, and age groups you feel most comfortable with.
