As a driver, you meet customers with significant needs for assistance and support during their journeys. Your service and approach make a real difference in their lives and daily routines. Your Responsibilities and Work Tasks Your task is to ensure that everyone who travels with us has a safe and pleasant trip, in accordance with procedures and traffic and safety regulations. Your routes include school transportation and service traffic. You may sometimes help carry and load luggage or mobility aids, such as wheelchairs. In service traffic, we often transport people with special needs or functional variations. You are responsible for providing extra support and service to passengers using paratransit services, medical transport, or other publicly procured trips. You should therefore have knowledge of applicable regulations for this type of travel. Since you have ultimate responsibility for everyone in the vehicle, you should have a good ability to work independently and take your own initiative within your role, even under stress. You are responsible for keeping dispatch and customers informed of traffic disruptions and other issues. You report to your direct supervisor. Your work tasks also include helping to keep the vehicle clean and intact, as well as reporting vehicle faults and damage. You are communicative, social, and have fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing. Desirable Qualifications Include Experience from healthcare or elderly care. Forklifts certification.
