JOB DUTIES
Welcome to our centrally located orthodontics clinic, a well-functioning and pleasant workplace where collaboration is in focus! We are a tight-knit team working here - five orthodontists, five orthodontic assistants, one ST dentist, and 9 dental hygienists. We are a referral center for general dentistry and treat patients with more complex bite problems. The work is varied and developmental – you will work both independently and in a team, treating children, young people, and young adults. Administrative tasks are also part of this role.

For those who want to develop further, there may be opportunities in the future to train as an orthodontic assistant. It is a paid further education with retained salary, where after completing your training you will work more independently and have your own patients in close collaboration with an orthodontist.
Your primary placement is in Växjö, but the orthodontics clinic is located in both Växjö and Ljungby; assignments may also occur in Ljungby.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a trained dental hygienist – perhaps you are curious about orthodontics and want to learn more, or perhaps you already have some experience. Regardless, the most important thing for us is that you have the desire to develop together with us. You enjoy working with children and young people and meet both patients and colleagues with warmth, curiosity, and respect. You thrive when you get to collaborate, but you also feel comfortable taking your own responsibility when needed.
You are very welcome to apply whether you are new to the profession or have worked for a while.
This is a permanent position, but an initial probationary period of 6 months may be relevant.
