Your Workplace
Folktandvården Tingvalla is the most centrally located general dental clinic in Karlstad, situated in the same building as the Specialist Clinic for Orthodontics. We operate on a 7–19 schedule, where you alternate between morning and afternoon shifts. We are one of the largest clinics in Värmland and have a strong energy and commitment to development.
Across all professional categories, we have a good mix of younger and more experienced colleagues. At Tingvalla, we work within all dental areas and have several dental specialists. 43 employees care for approximately 14,300 patients, of which 6,100 are children.
Your Responsibilities
You will have a varied and stimulating job that primarily consists of chairside assistance, sterilization, and reception work. If you are interested, there are also opportunities for your own areas of responsibility, such as prophylaxis with your own patients and other delegated tasks such as taking impressions. The tasks vary within both adult and pediatric dentistry.
It is important to us that our patients feel satisfied after a visit, which is why we place great emphasis on service and patient care. If you are early in your career, you will receive good support from your new colleagues. Additionally, we will give you a strong start in your new career through Folktandvården's comprehensive introduction program, which combines theory with practical work.
Your Knowledge and Skills
We are looking for someone who is a trained dental hygienist. As a person, you take independent responsibility for and drive your tasks forward. Good collaboration with colleagues and professional, service-oriented patient care is essential. The role also requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing needs and tasks.

Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and operates 17 general dental clinics distributed across 24 different locations – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. Additionally, we have clinics in all specialist areas that treat patients by referral. We are a forward-looking organization with quality and expertise in focus.
