Within the Public Dental Service, there is a wide range of areas of expertise. We provide both general and specialist dental care and also participate in the clinical education of dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses, and dental technicians. We are now seeking dental nurses for the Public Dental Service in Holmsund and Nordmaling. We provide modern, health-focused dental care for both children and adults and are looking for someone who wants to make a difference. Holmsund is a coastal community just outside Umeå where working life and quality of life go hand in hand. JOB DUTIES As a dental nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. You get fun and varied work and will be part of a work team with dentists and dental hygienists. The work mainly involves assisting practitioners and performing your own patient work such as informing and instructing patients as well as reception and sterilization work and administrative tasks. If you are newly graduated, you will receive introduction and mentoring so that you develop and grow in your professional role. We are proud of the collaboration that exists between our clinics and work at one or more of the workplaces that are part of the base unit may become relevant. The work can also take place outside the clinic, for example in collaboration with Health Centers, schools, or elderly care. We use digital scheduling and 1177 as well as the journal system T4 and communication solution Tele-Q. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a trained dental nurse and who want to contribute to quality-focused dental care for both children and adults. You have a genuine interest in patient encounters and enjoy working in an operation where preventive measures, good service, and professional conduct are important parts of everyday work. We would appreciate it if you have a few years of experience and feel confident working independently. You have the ability to perform preventive measures, assess patients' needs, and analyze what measures can contribute to better oral health, as well as understanding the connection between oral health, the individual's well-being, and the importance of general health status. As a person, you are flexible, communicate easily, have good organizational and prioritization skills, and believe that care and service are a natural part of your work. You are responsive to your surroundings and have the ability to adapt your conduct based on who you meet and what the situation requires. You work well with others and want to contribute to development that leads to improved working methods. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience of teamwork is a merit and we would appreciate it if you have knowledge of the journal system T4, 1177, and Tele-Q. Employment type: Permanent employment.
