We are now seeking a self-reliant dental hygienist who understands the importance of good service and respectful patient care.
Main responsibilities and duties
At Folktandvården Sannegården, you will meet patients of all ages with many different care needs. As a dental hygienist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will use your full range of expertise while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and customer service skills.
The position includes, among other things:
Assisting with examinations and treatments
Working with your own patients on preventive treatments, orientation sessions, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatment
Working in sterilization and at the reception

Required competencies and profile
Trained dental hygienist with education approved by MYH (Swedish Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
Strong knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
Able to independently manage administration
Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient and thoughtful manner
Able to project a stable and calm demeanor even when there is much to do
Ability to cooperate and relate to other people in a receptive way
Contribute to the development of the clinic by actively participating in improvement initiatives
If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually designed mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly trained dental hygienists.
About the recruitment process
The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application deadline, the clinic manager will select applicants and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 33-34.
Västra Götalandsregionen conducts background checks in suspicion and burden registers before employment.
