The Role of Dental Hygienist

Working as a dental hygienist is about being able to anticipate needs and stay one step ahead in treatment situations. You are an important part of the clinic team and contribute with your colleagues to providing our patients with safe and quality care. In this role, you meet patients of all ages and from different backgrounds.
In addition to being the dentist's right hand, you also have your own areas of responsibility and tasks, which can be both clinical and administrative. Therefore, you will have a varied day where you can use all your professional competence.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is a trained dental hygienist with an interest in both pediatric and adult dental care and who is comfortable working closely with others in a team. We are looking for a dental hygienist who wants to work with the full scope of the professional role, which includes assisting with treatments as well as treating your own patients under delegated care and reception work.
At the clinic, you contribute with good energy and a positive attitude. You keep the patient's needs in focus and contribute to an approach that creates safety and participation. We are looking for someone who shares Folktandvården's values and vision of good and equitable dental care for all residents of the region.
You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A driver's license (category B) is desirable as travel on business may occur. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
