Here at Public Dental Care, we are at the forefront of research and development and have close collaboration with the Department of Odontology at Umeå University. Within Public Dental Care, there is a broad range of areas of expertise. We offer both general and specialist dental care, and we also participate in the clinical training of dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses, and dental technicians. We work in modern and well-equipped facilities and are located in several places throughout the region. We are proud of our wellness activity offerings and of course you receive a wellness allowance. We are now recruiting dentists for Västerbotten's inland: Lycksele, Malå, and Vilhelmina/Åsele/Dorotea. We provide modern and health-oriented dental care for both children and adults, and we are looking for someone who wants to make a difference. Here you will have the opportunity to work with quality dental care in an operation where commitment, development, and patient focus are at the center. At Public Dental Care Stenbergska in Lycksele, there is a specialist orthodontics clinic, and Public Dental Care's new unit Competence Center will also be located here, which is currently under development. We also provide dental care under general anesthesia for children and adults at Lycksele Hospital. Please indicate in your application which locations you are most interested in. Lycksele is the largest town in Västerbotten's inland and is home to Southern Lapland's largest dental clinic. It is close to most things such as schools, jobs, leisure activities, and restaurants. Moreover, it is easy to commute to larger cities. Lycksele is perfect for someone who wants to live well and safely and has an active lifestyle. In Malå, it is easy to feel at home. The area is characterized by security, care, and closeness – both between people and to nature. Forests, lakes, mountains, and pristine wilderness – year-round there are opportunities for outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and skiing both downhill and cross-country. We offer varied work with patients of all ages and with different care needs. You work both independently and in teams, doing examinations, advanced treatments, and emergency dental care. As a newly graduated dentist, you will have access to clinical mentoring and support so you can develop and grow into your professional role. We use computerized appointment scheduling and the T4 journal system, as well as the voice recognition tool Voxit Vocal. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a licensed dentist or who is nearing completion of their dental education. We value that you are committed, knowledgeable, and passionate about performing your work with high quality and customer satisfaction. You are responsible and find that attentive care is a natural part of the work. This includes the ability to see the patient's needs from a holistic perspective. Your working style is structured and you take the initiatives and decisions required in your role. You have good communication skills, work in an organized manner, and enjoy contributing to both the development of the operation and good teamwork.
