We are now seeking a collaborative dentist who wants to make a difference Main Responsibilities and Tasks At Folktandvården Styrsö, you'll meet patients of all ages with many different care needs. As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring patients feel welcome and secure during their visit. You'll use all of your expertise while the position also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset. The position includes, among other things: Working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues in the treatment room Handling both routine examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as some emergency dental care Serving as the team's specialist in oral diagnostics We are a VFU clinic and accept students from dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Mentoring/assisting students may also be part of the position. Our clinic currently has 7 staff members total working with 3 treatment rooms. Feel free to learn more about our opening hours and how to find us (it only takes 40 minutes from Järntorget): Folktandvården Styrsö, Gothenburg - Folktandvården Required Qualifications and Profile Licensed dentist Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and wisely Able to project a calm and stable demeanor even when there's a lot to do Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner Contribute to the clinic's development by actively participating in improvement initiatives If you are new to the profession, you'll receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of professional development. About the Recruitment Process The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application deadline closes, the clinic manager will make a selection of applicants and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 37-38. If you are an applicant with education/degree from another EU/EES country than Sweden and lack references, supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples may be required as part of the recruitment process.
