Primary Responsibilities and Tasks At Folktandvården Vänersborg, you will see patients of all ages with many different care needs. As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well-received and secure during their visit. You will use your full range of expertise while the position also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented approach. The position includes, among other things: Working both independently and collaboratively with your colleagues in the treatment room Handling both routine examinations and more advanced treatments and emergency dental care Serving as the team's specialist in oral diagnostics Mentoring dental students in clinical training (VFU), 2 days/week during rotation periods Our clinic is equipped with an OPG, digital radiography equipment, and digital impression taking. We are a VFU clinic that receives students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at University of Gothenburg as well as students from the dental nursing program. Mentoring of VFU students will periodically become part of your role. Our clinic currently has a total of 37 employees with 12 treatment rooms. You can read more about our opening hours and directions on our website: Folktandvården Vänersborg - Folktandvården Required Qualifications and Profile Licensed dentist with several years of professional experience Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry Interest in, and preferably experience with, mentoring VFU students Completed mentor training of 7.5 credits, or willingness to complete it after starting employment Swedish language proficiency equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speaking and writing Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and thoughtfully Capability to project a calm and stable demeanor even during busy periods Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a responsive manner Contribute to business development through active participation in the clinic's improvement initiatives About the Recruitment Process After the application deadline, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them to interviews at the clinic. HR will also invite you to a supplementary digital interview. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 39-40. If you are an applicant with education/qualifications from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, supplementary theoretical and clinical work tests may be required as part of the recruitment process.
