About the Facility Malung is a small, calm, and safe community in Västerdalarna with magnificent nature nearby that you can enjoy in all seasons. The town is best known for the popular Dansbandsveckan (Dance Band Week) held here in week 29 each year, attracting people from all over Sweden and neighboring countries. The municipality has a good business climate and a vibrant community life, so there is a good chance you will find an interest that suits you. Just 60 km to the north lies Sälenfjällen, one of Sweden's largest winter ski resorts, where you can enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, fine dining at some of the country's best restaurants, hiking, cycling, fishing, canoeing, and much more. The municipality also has an airport, so you can easily travel to several places in Sweden or to the continent. At the clinic, we have 1 dentist, 3 dental hygienists, 1 clinic coordinator, and 1 operations manager (shared with Folktandvården Sälen). We have six treatment rooms with excellent equipment. When necessary, work may be performed at Folktandvården Sälen. Job Responsibilities As a general dentist, you will have varied tasks and see patients of all ages requiring all types of treatments. With us, you will have an interesting and developing position, good collegiality, and the opportunity for a rich personal life. All new employees participate in our introduction program. At Folktandvården Dalarna, as a newly graduated dentist, you will be offered an introduction program with an individually tailored introduction plan. The plan is developed in cooperation with your home clinic and the mentor clinic Origo, and includes clinical time alternating with mentoring and theoretical instruction. After completing the introduction, you will have a solid foundation for developing clinical and theoretical skills so you feel confident in your role as a general dentist. For experienced dentists, mentoring newly graduated dentists and dental students is part of the work. Qualifications We seek someone with Swedish dental license. A valid driver's license (B category) is required. Experience with the T4 computer system is a merit. We also place great importance on personal suitability. We see that you work well with other people and communicate with both colleagues and patients in a responsive and flexible manner. You believe that care and service are natural parts of the work and that it is self-evident to involve the patient in possible treatment alternatives. You are also skilled at organizing and prioritizing work efficiently. You use Swedish in speech and writing.
