About the job
As a tactical procurement specialist, you have an operational and tactical responsibility for the supplier base with a focus on delivery reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You work closely with strategic procurement and drive a structured, data-driven approach to ensure balance between demand and capacity.
Your responsibilities:
Ensure balance between forecasts and supplier capacity
Analyze deviations and initiate corrective actions
Drive improvements in lead times, planning parameters, and material flows
Build and develop relationships with suppliers and introduce new ways of working
Work on KPI monitoring and master data management, as well as documentation
Ensure compliance and sustainability aspects in supplier monitoring

This role is based at Rock Tools in Sandviken
About you
You have experience in procurement, planning, logistics, or supplier development and are accustomed to making decisions based on facts and data. You work methodically, have good system experience, and feel comfortable using business systems and digital tools. We'd like to see that you have post-secondary education in industrial economics or a related field.
We also see that you have:
Experience with analysis and monitoring of key performance indicators as a basis for decision-making
Ability to plan, prioritize, and drive activities forward in an operation with many stakeholder contacts
Experience collaborating with suppliers or other external parties
Good understanding of how procurement, logistics, and supply chains impact business results
Experience working in business systems and strong skills in Excel or similar analysis tools
Interest in developing ways of working, processes, and flows
