We welcome your application. About the Role At Riksgälden, you work at the heart of Sweden's economy. Together, we ensure that the state's payments and financing are handled efficiently and that the financial system is stable. We are now seeking a systems developer for the Systems and Analysis Development unit within the IT department. The IT department consists of over 50 employees, distributed across four units. This position is ideal for someone with extensive technical background who appreciates diving into advanced challenges in analysis and finance – challenges that are unparalleled in other workplaces. As a senior systems developer, you are expected to shoulder comprehensive responsibility spanning the entire development process. Your work tasks range from database-level programming to frontend and secure system integrations. You work methodically based on established requirements and translate them into robust, sustainable solutions of high quality. We apply an agile working method. You possess solid insight into software architecture and database modeling, and you work proactively to ensure that systems are easy to maintain and manage sustainably. In this role, you are responsible for: - Developing, testing, and debugging systems, integrations, and APIs. - Working across the full technology stack, including everything from SQL data management to frontend presentation (for example, with Razor and Telerik). - Ensuring quality through unit testing, code review, and established development principles. - Participating in requirements analysis, solution design, and technical decisions. - Contributing to architecture discussions and technical direction. - Establishing and maintaining build and deployment management in Azure DevOps. - Supporting colleagues through mentoring and knowledge sharing. Qualifications Requirements Your Education and Experience - Post-secondary education in Systems or Web Development, or other education that Riksgälden deems equivalent. - Experience developing, testing, and debugging integrations, systems, and APIs. - You have knowledge and well-established experience with C#/.NET and can confidently and independently handle all phases of the development cycle for business-critical systems. - Very good knowledge and experience with SQL Server and database modeling. - Practical experience with unit testing. - Experience with Entity Framework. - Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. - Swedish citizenship. Meritorious: - Degree from university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. - Certifications in Microsoft and/or software architecture and system design. - Experience working throughout lifecycle management in Azure DevOps (or equivalent tool) and GIT on-prem. - Experience working in the banking or financial sector. - Experience in frontend development with modern frameworks and technologies. - Experience working with Blazor.
