Making Future Job Description We at AFRY Automotive in Trollhättan are seeking a developer with an interest in electronic control systems, embedded software, dynamic simulation, and integration—is this you? Then this is an opportunity for you! We are looking for someone who is a team player and has a background in systems development. In your assignment with our client, you will develop, design, test, and document embedded software in control systems. There is also a need to perform supporting tasks in the following areas: • Product Development: Development of software and functionality for control systems. • Product Support: Track trends and identify improvements, troubleshoot defects and solve problems, investigate events with a focus on the control system. • Demonstrator/Technology Development in the field of control systems technology. • Work with SIL/MIL/HIL for troubleshooting and system development. You are expected, like the rest of the team, to contribute to a good work environment by being helpful, sharing knowledge and experience, and being open and proactive about continuous improvement. Qualifications • Engineering degree (BSc, MSc, or equivalent) in mechatronics, engineering physics, or another relevant engineering discipline. • You are fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written). • Excellent ability to collaborate and network. • Experience and knowledge of agile methods is a merit. • Interest and experience with programming languages such as C++, Python is a merit. • As a person, you have a genuine interest in systems development and can combine practical with theoretical knowledge. • You have the ability to understand how hardware is practically used in relation to design, failure modes, design intent, etc. • You are comfortable taking significant individual responsibility and being part of a team. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance requirements. For positions where the client has security classification requirements, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for specific citizenship and a cleared background check.
