Now IGT in Växjö is seeking a systems developer who wants to help further develop the platform that our games run on.
Here both games and the systems that power them are developed—from backend and integrations to functionality that communicates with gaming platforms and hardware.
Your responsibilities
As a systems developer at IGT, you work with backend and platform development in C#/.NET and play an important role in ensuring that our games function stably, securely, and efficiently in markets around the world.
You don't primarily work with the games themselves, but with the systems and platform that make the games possible. This can include communication between different systems, integrations, management of game data, transactions, configurations, and functionality that communicates directly with hardware in our gaming machines.
The role is broad and varied with many contact points and great technical breadth.
You will, among other things:
*develop and further develop backend and platform solutions in C#/.NET
*work with integrations and communication between different systems
*develop functionality related to transactions, game data, and configuration
*work closely with hardware-related systems and communication with the gaming platform
*contribute to improved code quality, architecture, and technical practices
*collaborate with developers, testers, and other technical specialists
Your profile
We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in systems development and who finds it just as exciting to understand how different systems interact as to write the code itself.
You have strong knowledge of C# and .NET and are comfortable analyzing problems, troubleshooting, and understanding technical flows from database to application and integration.
We believe you have experience and interest in one or more of the following:
*backend development in C#/.NET
*APIs and integrations
*databases and data modeling
*systems architecture and technical flows
*troubleshooting and problem-solving in complex system environments
C++, SQL, and experience with hardware-level development are merits.
The most important thing is that you have a strong technical drive, want to develop yourself, and enjoy understanding how systems work in depth.
