Your New Job
The Swedish Work Environment Authority aims to increase development pace and become more data-driven. The IT Department has close collaboration between the Infrastructure, Development, Digitalization, and Helpdesk sections to deliver secure, stable, and modern IT to the entire organization. The department is on a development journey focused on modernizing work methods and platforms, strengthening security, and creating sustainable solutions for the future.
The Infrastructure Section consists of a cross-functional team of approximately 11 competent and engaged employees. Together, the section is responsible for operation, development, and management of the authority's central IT environment, IT workplace, and collaboration tools. The group is characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and shared responsibility where different specialist areas work together to create a secure and well-functioning IT infrastructure.
As a Systems Technician, you will be an important part of ensuring stable and secure solutions while contributing to the development and improvement of the infrastructure.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Responsible for operation, management, and development of the authority's client platform.
- Administer Endpoint tools, Microsoft 365, including identity, security, and collaboration features.
- Manage Windows clients throughout their lifecycle – from installation and configuration to updates and decommissioning.
- Work with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), identity management, and conditional access.
- Manage security features such as Microsoft Defender, security policies, and compliance.
- Work with Mobile Device Management (MDM) for computers and mobile devices.
- Participate in implementing new services and developing the modern workplace.
- Document solutions, procedures, and technical environments.
- Participate in projects together with other parts of the IT Department.
Your Background
The role requires you to have:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant area, such as client management or systems technology, or equivalent competence acquired through relevant and current work experience.
- Several years of documented and current experience with client management in modern Windows environments.
- Current experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and 365 administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and identity management.
- Experience with troubleshooting and management of client platforms.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender, Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Experience with Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
- Experience with PowerShell and automation.
