As a Systems Technician, you work with operations, troubleshooting, and automation in Trafikverket's business-critical IT environment. You manage incidents, develop solutions, and collaborate closely with development teams in an environment where many systems and integrations need to work together. You work both operationally and with a continuous improvement mindset on incident management, automation, and long-term stability. Responsibilities As a Systems Technician in Business-Critical Applications Operations, you will work on operations, automations, and support around Trafikverket's application environment for business-critical services, with a focus particularly on Microsoft platforms. The application environment is built primarily on Microsoft's technical platform, but there are numerous integrations and connections to operational systems with various types of embedded IT systems. In this role, you work both operationally and with a continuous improvement focus. Your main responsibilities will be to: - Provide, facilitate, and further develop IT support to the business - Monitor and manage IT events such as information, warnings, and alarms in applications and platforms - Resolve IT incidents quickly, efficiently, and with a focus on long-term stability - Work closely with development teams and contribute operations and platform expertise throughout the lifecycle - Investigate and document root causes of incidents and contribute to permanent and automated solutions - Follow up, report, and communicate status to relevant stakeholders and ensure feedback to users - Document, develop, and maintain routines, instructions, and technical documentation On-call duties are included in this position. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: - A university degree of at least 120 credits with a focus on IT. Alternatively, other education combined with experience that we assess as equivalent - Several years of professional experience in third-level IT support, for example in the operations and management of systems and applications - Strong ability and experience in documentation - Expertise in various Microsoft products such as Microsoft SQL, IIS, and Microsoft server platforms - Strong ability in Swedish, both spoken and written - Good ability in English, in writing - Strong problem-solving skills that enable you to identify problems and develop solutions from a holistic perspective - The ability to take initiative and independently see what needs to be done and act accordingly - Good collaboration skills and work to find solutions that benefit all parties - A structured work approach and good ability to prioritize, as well as work carefully and responsibly It is advantageous if you also have experience in one or more of the following areas: - Linux - PostgreSQL - PowerShell scripting - Experience with container solutions - Experience with an observability solution Additional Information The employment will be security vetted without placement in a security classification.
