Job Description Do you want to develop within systems engineering and work with advanced technical systems in a high-tech environment? We are now seeking a Systems Engineer who wants to help ensure that complex systems are developed, integrated, and verified in a structured and efficient manner. The role suits you if you have a technical education and an interest in requirements management, system architecture, and technical problem-solving. As a Systems Engineer, you will work to translate customer and business needs into clear system requirements and technical solutions. You will collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines and contribute to ensuring that products and systems meet specified requirements throughout the development process. Your main responsibilities include: Requirements management and traceability throughout the system development process. Analysis and breakdown of customer and business requirements into technical system requirements. Definition and documentation of interfaces between systems and subsystems. Development of technical documentation and Interface Control Documents (ICD). Modeling of system architecture, data flows, and functions. Participation in verification and validation work to ensure requirements compliance. Identification and management of technical risks during the system's lifecycle. Qualifications We are seeking someone who has: A higher education degree in, for example, mechanical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, computer science, or similar. An interest in systems engineering and complex technical systems. Knowledge of requirements management and technical documentation. An analytical mind and the ability to see both the big picture and details in technical solutions. Fluent communication in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Desirable Knowledge of MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering). Experience with SysML or other modeling tools. Knowledge of verification, validation, and testing methodologies. Experience from defense, automotive, or manufacturing industries. Knowledge of INCOSE, V-model, or agile development methods. We believe you are curious, structured, and enjoy solving technical challenges together with others. You have a systematic approach to work, a strong drive to learn new things, and a desire to develop within systems engineering. Since the role is within defense, you must hold Swedish citizenship.
