ABOUT THE POSITION: In this technically focused role, you work on a project basis with a mix of theoretical and practical elements. In close collaboration with other departments and professions, you develop technical solutions for a safe and functional submarine. You work in a coordinating and unifying role for your systems, which you follow through the entire chain from development, planning, production, commissioning, and verification. In your role, you are responsible and set requirements for your systems, and ensure that they work together with adjacent systems. Process engineering is a central part of dimensioning the systems to meet requirements. The Machinery Systems section is located in Lund. Your main areas of responsibility: Responsible for your system's function throughout the development process Develop system solutions that meet requirements Write technical specifications Conduct system commissioning Verify requirements with sub-suppliers or on the final product Serve as a subject matter specialist Train users in the systems Participate in maintenance projects Travel within Scania/Blekinge occurs in this role.
