ABOUT THE POSITION: Our client is a global defense and security company operating in aerospace, land and naval defense, civil security, and commercial aviation technology. Friday is now seeking a systems engineer who wants to work with HMI, UX/UI, and complex technical systems within the aviation industry. You'll have a broad role at the intersection of user, system architecture, and development, working across the entire chain from requirements and concept development to system design and final solution. The role focuses on how the user interacts with the system and how different technical components work together to create a well-functioning whole. You don't need to be a programmer yourself, but you should have sufficient technical understanding to communicate effectively with developers and other technical functions. A selection of your responsibilities: • Work with systems engineering related to HMI and UX/UI • Analyze user needs and translate them into technical solutions • Participate in requirements, concept development, and system design • Contribute to the development of system architecture and system properties • Analyze user needs and translate them into technical solutions WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: • Have a post-secondary degree in, for example, cognitive science, interaction design, systems science, computer science, software engineering, media technology, or another relevant technical field • Have at least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role • Have an interest in UX/UI and HMI as well as basic understanding of system architecture • Possess unencumbered proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written You don't need to be a programmer or a dedicated UX designer. What's important is that you're interested in the interaction between users and technology and want to work with UX/UI and HMI from a broader system perspective. Furthermore, you work well with different competencies and enjoy diving into complex technical issues. For positions where our client has security classification requirements, there may be requirements for certain citizenship. This is a consulting assignment, which means you'll be employed by Friday.
