As a software integrator, you'll dive into large-scale technical systems where information from sensors and data links are compiled into a clear, unified system view. Your mission is to make software, computers, networks, and custom-built hardware work together seamlessly. About the role: You'll become part of a high-tech company that develops advanced technical systems for complex environments. The work involves configuring software and networks, operating simulators, and troubleshooting interfaces with other technical products. These systems are comprehensive, and each delivery has its own set of requirements. When issues arise, you structure them, identify relationships, and work methodically toward a solution. Sometimes you'll need to read and interpret code to understand system behavior, but the focus is on integration and troubleshooting. You'll work closely with other integrators, testers, and software developers in an environment where you solve problems collaboratively and share experiences across teams. Key responsibilities: - Configure and integrate software on computers and custom-built hardware - Configure networks and technical system environments - Troubleshoot problems in software, networks, and technical interfaces - Operate and troubleshoot simulators and reference facilities - Investigate system behaviors and dependencies between different components - Manage interfaces with third-party products - Collaborate with integrators, testers, and software developers - Document configurations, troubleshooting, and completed changes Work is primarily performed at the office and at the company's test and reference facilities. Occasionally you'll work in external technical environments, which may involve travel within Sweden and abroad. What we're looking for: - Several years of relevant work experience in areas such as systems integration, IT operations, software, testing, or networking - Experience with technical troubleshooting and the ability to grasp complex systems - Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written It's a plus if you have advanced knowledge of Linux, networking, or switches. Experience with simulators, hardware-software integration, or reading code during troubleshooting is also valuable. To thrive in this role, we believe you enjoy understanding how technical systems fit together and readily tackle problems without obvious solutions from the start. You drive your work forward in a structured manner but can also reprioritize and adapt when new technical questions arise. You're comfortable solving technical problems with others and reach out to the right people when needed. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and are equally comfortable asking for help when someone else has the answer. About the position: This is a consulting engagement, which means you'll be employed by Friday and work as a consultant at our client's site. This position requires that you undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations.
