LFV is now seeking a Systems Engineer in CNS for our team at Arlanda Airport. About the Position In your role as a systems engineer, you'll be offered challenging and stimulating work in an exciting environment within our aviation unit, focusing on air traffic control systems, communication, navigation, and radar systems (CNS). You will be an important link in maintaining technical safety around aviation and air traffic. The work includes both preventative and corrective maintenance of complex and unique systems. You will also be involved in various projects related to different system groups. Below are examples of our different areas: • Radio systems • Navigation systems • Radar systems • Air traffic control systems • Meteorological systems • IP networks and PC applications Many of the systems at the airport are of unique character. Therefore, as a Systems Engineer, you will undergo basic training and several specialized advanced courses. You'll work for a company that is leading in its field, and you'll become part of a team consisting of ambitious and dedicated colleagues. You will also travel to nearby technical facilities to handle equipment outside of Arlanda. The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with other systems engineers and follows applicable quality and safety requirements. On-call duty is part of the role. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with a technical background, with at least three years of technical upper secondary education or an engineering degree. You preferably have experience in radio technology, analog and digital electronics, and mechanics, and feel confident working with telecommunications systems. We would like you to have experience in: • Radio technology and telecommunications. • Antenna systems, radio links, or transmission solutions. • Operation and maintenance of technical systems. Experience with airport or aviation systems as well as electrical competence is an asset. You have excellent knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written. The role requires a valid manual category B driving license, and you will need to be approved for mast climbing. As a person, you have a strong interest in technology and thrive in a role where you can take responsibility and contribute to mission-critical operations. You are proactive, structured, and have good collaboration skills. Your work is characterized by quality, safety, and high service standards. About the Organization This is a permanent position based in Stockholm.
