About the Position At Södra Cell, we work to develop and improve our processes for sustainable and competitive production. Digitalization and development of our production systems play a crucial role in meeting future demands. At our facility in Mörrum, we are now seeking a systems engineer who wants to drive the development of our control systems and contribute to a modern, stable, and secure production environment. What You'll Work With at Södra As a systems engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with production and be a key player in developing and maintaining our control systems. You will also work with: Specifying, maintaining, and developing control system functions (ABB 800xA) Responsibility for monitoring and optimizing installed control systems Programming and making changes to control system code Participating in projects and driving improvement work Training users on control functions Supervising external programmers and collaborating with other systems engineers within Södra Cell This is a permanent full-time position, daytime hours, based in Mörrum. Who Are We Looking For? We're seeking someone who wants to combine technical depth with business understanding and who is driven to develop and improve systems in a production-oriented environment. To succeed, you need to: Have strong self-motivation and well-developed self-leadership Be structured, thorough, and experienced in documenting your work Have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with others Have leadership qualities and be able to drive initiatives forward Have an interest in new technology and a desire to continuously develop We also see that you have experience with: Post-secondary education in a relevant field Working with control systems, preferably ABB 800xA or Siemens PCS/S7 Programming control loops and control functions Swedish and English, spoken and written Experience with programming in ABB AC450/AC800M is a merit.
