Systems Administrator for Finance – Consulting Assignment

People of Finance is now seeking an experienced systems administrator specializing in finance for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in the northern Stockholm area. This role is ideal for you if you have experience with financial systems and systems administration, and if you thrive in a position where you combine systems expertise with understanding of financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The assignment is at 75–100% capacity and is expected to run for 3–6 months. The work will initially take place primarily on-site at the client, with opportunities for remote work later on. About the Assignment As a systems administrator, you will work closely with the finance function and operations, responsible for ensuring stable and well-functioning systems support for finance and procurement. You will be a critical link between finance, operations, systems, and external vendors. The role includes both ongoing administration and support as well as development and improvement of existing processes and system solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Administering and developing system support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting - Working with systems administration, access rights, chart of accounts, and organizational structure - Developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrations between different systems - Developing and updating reports and other financial reporting tools - Supporting users in operations and conducting training when needed - Creating and updating system documentation, instructions, and quick-reference guides - Identifying and driving improvements in existing system support - Managing communication with system vendors regarding issues, updates, and change requests You will work alongside controllers, accounting professionals, and others in systems administration. Who We're Looking For We are seeking someone with several years of experience in systems administration for finance, with a good understanding of the relationship between financial processes and the systems that support them. To be a good fit for this assignment, we see that you have: - Experience in systems administration and system management - Experience with integrations and troubleshooting them - Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes in the public sector - Experience with access management, chart of accounts, and organizational structures - Experience developing and updating financial reports - Experience creating system documentation and user support materials - Very strong ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written It is advantageous if you have worked with Hypergene or similar financial management system support. Experience with user training and contact with system vendors is also a plus. As a person, we believe you are well-organized, solution-oriented, and communicative. You are accustomed to collaborating with different parts of an organization while independently driving your work forward and delivering against recurring deadlines.
