Job Description
As a systems administrator, you play a central role in managing and developing the region's various systems that support finance and procurement processes. The role is varied and you have multiple points of contact, for example internally within the region or with system vendors and consultants.
You will work with, among other things:
- Management of systems supporting finance and procurement processes.
- Identifying needs for change.
- Driving development activities for functionalities, improvements and integrations.
- Handling error reports and troubleshooting.
- Providing support to users, and training where needed.
- Performing data maintenance and ensuring data quality.
- Participating in system upgrades and day-to-day operations.
- Performing testing during major development initiatives and upgrades.
- Creating and updating documentation for systems and processes.
- Working for efficient and reliable system use and for good user-friendliness in the systems.
You will become part of our systems team working closely with the region's IT department and other operations. As a systems administrator, you are part of an object organization that uses a governance and collaboration model (PM3) which is designed to strengthen the business's development capacity through IT and is based on an operations perspective.
Workplace Team
This position is an expansion of our systems team, which currently consists of three people, and is placed within Finance Services. Finance Services has three units with a total of approximately 50 employees. The unit's mission is to serve as the region's central function for accounting, handle incoming customer and supplier invoices, finance administration, systems management, and provide specialist expertise in accounting and internal controls.
Your workplace will be in fine, newly renovated premises on Drottninggatan in Linköping.
About You
We are looking for you who have:
- Post-secondary education, for example with a focus on computer science/IT or finance, or who have equivalent knowledge through other education and/or work experience, which is assessed as relevant and equivalent.
- Worked as a systems administrator or with systems development, or qualified work in a larger finance system, close to operations, and are accustomed to conducting dialogue with both operations and IT.
Your personal qualities are important:
You enjoy working with the development of processes and procedures and have a genuine interest in systems. You are structured and self-driven in that you can plan, organize and prioritize your work based on workload. To succeed in this role, you need to be service-minded and enjoy creating positive working relationships and collaborating with others. You are pedagogical and clear in your communication. You have a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Meritorious
- Experience from a larger organization, preferably within the public sector.
- Experience with the finance and procurement system Unit4 ERP and/or development of another larger finance system.
