JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be part of a team of approximately 20 people and a larger operations organization where we collectively are responsible for the municipality's IT environment, including infrastructure, networks, and mission-critical systems. Our solutions are central to society's critical operations and place high demands on availability, security, and stable operations.
We work in a modern Microsoft-based environment and have close collaboration with both suppliers and other municipalities, where we share experiences and develop common working methods. Our technical platform spans both modern solutions such as cloud services, container technology, and Microsoft Power Platform as well as an extensive on-premises environment where a large portion of our systems continue to operate.
This role suits you if you appreciate working in a hybrid environment where traditional stable operations meet continuous development and modernization.
In this role, you are responsible for operations and management of a number of systems and ensure that they function stably, securely, and efficiently over time. You work with the entire lifecycle – from planning and development to ongoing operations and improvement.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
• Operations, monitoring, and incident management in a complex IT environment
• Ongoing improvement work and change management
• Collaboration with administration leadership, colleagues, suppliers, and other municipalities
• Participation in projects and implementation of new solutions
• Planning of operations, updates, and further development
You are expected to take independent responsibility for your systems and contribute to the whole, while working within common working methods and processes.
After an introductory period, the position may also be part of an on-call function.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience. You have several years of experience working in systems operations, preferably from a larger organization with complex IT environments.
It is important that you:
• Are accustomed to working in a structured operations organization
• Have an understanding of processes related to incident, change, and operations management
• Enjoy collaborating with many different roles and functions
• Have experience managing systems with high demands on availability and stable operations
It is a merit if you have experience with:
• Process frameworks such as ITIL
• Ticketing systems (ITSM)
• Modern hybrid environments with cloud services, such as Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, container technology, and Power Platform
To succeed in this role, you are organized, take responsibility, and are solution-oriented. You have good analytical skills and can see the bigger picture in complex systems.
You thrive in an environment where collaboration is central and where you, together with others, both internally and between organizations, contribute to stable and secure IT delivery. At the same time, you can work independently and drive your issues forward.
