About the role As a System Administrator, you'll be part of a team responsible for operating, administering, and further developing business-critical systems. You'll work with servers, clients, and network equipment while ensuring a stable and secure IT environment. You'll be involved in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of local support systems and participate in evaluating new technical solutions. The role offers a broad variety of tasks and excellent opportunities for technical development. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Administering and maintaining Windows-based server and client environments. Installing and configuring technical support systems. Working with IT system operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Managing and configuring network equipment. Participating in the evaluation and implementation of new system solutions. Contributing to documentation and improvement of technical processes. Collaborating with technical specialists across multiple competency areas. Participating in ensuring high availability and security in the IT environment. We are looking for someone who Has relevant education in IT, system administration, or equivalent. Has at least one year of experience with system administration in a Windows environment. Has basic knowledge of Linux server and client environments. Has experience working as a system administrator, operations technician, or IT technician. Has a strong interest in IT operations, technology, and system management. Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Meritorious qualifications include Experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, OpenShift, or similar. Knowledge of virtual machine management. Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL. Knowledge of backup and recovery principles.
