Discover a versatile assignment! About the role Skatteverket's IT department is one of Sweden's largest, with a large and complex IT environment. We are responsible for the operation, management, and development of Skatteverket's and our customers' IT systems. Skatteverket has received an expanded mandate to provide IT operations services to more government agencies and to deliver an AI workshop for the public sector. We are therefore expanding our team responsible for OpenShift infrastructure. Together with skilled and innovative colleagues, you will contribute to Skatteverket's mission of creating social value. You will be part of a team that uses GitOps as a working method for code development and management. You will also work on building automations for self-service, monitoring, and configuration in a multi-cluster environment. In your work, you will use tools such as Helm charts, GitHub, Argo CD, and Vault. The team uses innovation sprints where you collectively evaluate new products, tools, and approaches. Your responsibilities include cluster management for Skatteverket and other users of the OpenShift platform, as well as active work to strengthen security. Your responsibilities also include participation in design and architecture for the OpenShift platform for Skatteverket and other government agencies. You receive one fitness hour per week and a fitness allowance. You will be part of the Operating Systems Section at Skatteverket's Technical Unit (STT) within the IT department, with placement in Sundbyberg or Gothenburg. About you To do a good job and thrive at Skatteverket, you need to be responsive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In this work, good judgment and understanding of legal security and IT security are important. You must also live up to our employee policy. In this role you should: - have good collaboration skills, be helpful and have good interpersonal skills - have the ability and willingness to learn new things, be flexible and open to change - have good problem-solving skills, recognize patterns, and be able to make clear boundaries - be goal-focused and contribute to achieving the purpose of the business - act consciously and professionally based on good self-awareness - express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish You should also have: - relevant post-secondary education in IT or current and relevant work experience in the IT field - current and relevant experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift cluster management and administration It is desirable that you have relevant experience with Red Hat OpenShift and that you have worked with automation supported by Argo CD, GitHub, and/or equivalent tools that the employer deems relevant. It is also desirable that you have relevant experience working according to GitOps principles. Good to know The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month trial period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security clearance class. A security investigation with record check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision. For some of our work assignments in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
