The National Cybersecurity Center, NCSC, is now seeking a system administrator to participate in building up the center's operations at FRA. Your assignment As a System Administrator, you will work at NCSC and the Office for Operational and Technical Cybersecurity. The office is responsible for operational cybersecurity to support society by preventing, detecting, and supporting coordination and management of IT incidents. The office's mission includes creating comprehensive situational assessments of adversarial cyber threats and IT incidents, providing technical advice and support to private and public actors, and maintaining a national situational awareness. You will be part of the Technical Resources unit, which works to provide the national CSIRT unit at NCSC, CERT-SE, with the technical systems and tools needed to effectively prevent and manage IT security incidents and cyber attacks against society. In your role as Linux system administrator, you will have a central role in developing and administering CERT-SE's operational IT environment. Together with your team of competent and dedicated colleagues, you will ensure that systems and applications not only meet operational needs but also meet the organization's security requirements. You will take overall responsibility for lifecycle management and further development of systems and applications, where your expertise will be crucial to our continued stability and development. In your role as system administrator, your main responsibilities are to operate, manage, and develop systems, applications, and infrastructure, primarily in the form of: · Develop continuous improvements in systems · Troubleshoot and make corrections · System hardening · Manage lifecycle management of systems and applications · Manage documentation You will also participate in the overall planning, monitoring, and analysis of the IT environment and provide important technical support to the organization. You can We are looking for someone who has: · Relevant post-secondary education in information technology or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways. · At least three years of documented work experience in operations and maintenance of Linux-based environments. · Documented experience working with operations, maintenance, and development of Linux-based systems. · Documented experience with automation and version control. · Documented experience in local IT operations. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security classification. A requirement for obtaining employment is passed security clearance with background check.
