Your Responsibilities As a System Engineer in Control System Engineering, you will be an important part of our dynamic migration team within Mods & Ups. You will be responsible for implementing control system upgrades in exciting modernization and upgrade projects and have the opportunity to work with the entire fleet of gas and steam turbines. You will drive technical assignments from design and configuration to testing, installation, and commissioning. With your technical expertise, you contribute to ensuring customers receive secure, reliable, and future-proof control systems. This is a role for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, and seeing your solutions work in reality. In the role, you will, among other things: Install and configure SIMATIC PCS 7 systems to ensure high performance and reliability Design and develop control system solutions based on specific project and customer requirements Implement and configure cybersecurity solutions to protect control systems and data Conduct control system testing prior to delivery and commissioning to ensure quality, functionality, and performance Configure, analyze, and troubleshoot network communication between control systems and external devices Participate in modernization and upgrade projects for the global fleet of gas and steam turbines Collaborate with project management, other engineering disciplines, the service organization, and customers to ensure successful deliveries Contribute to the development of our working methods and technical solutions within control systems and migration Your Profile We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest and who enjoys solving complex problems. You are analytical, structured, and take responsibility for your tasks from start to finish. We would like to see that you have: Post-secondary technical education, such as an engineering degree in automation, electrical engineering, data technology, or equivalent Strong knowledge of IT/OT and industrial computer systems Experience with SIMATIC PCS 7 and/or commissioning of gas turbines Experience in control system design is meritorious Understanding of industrial networks and communication solutions is meritorious A structured and solution-oriented working approach and ability to troubleshoot and analyze technical problems Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written Application Process The position is initially a consulting assignment through us at Skill.
