Responsibilities As a System Design Engineer, you will ensure smooth interaction between analog and digital subsystems, while enabling scalability, performance, and compliance with industry and quality standards. The role is hands-on and encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from embedded software development, PCB design, and system verification to support and improvement work. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of hardware and software, appreciates practical work, and wants to be part of shaping innovative products from the ground up. Your work will include: • Define and document system architecture for new products • Contribute to technical decisions and system integration within analog, digital, and embedded systems • Develop and maintain firmware in C/C++ for embedded platforms • Design and review PCB hardware (Altium, KiCAD, or equivalent) • Lead prototype and integration activities, and conduct system reviews and risk assessments • Troubleshoot and debug hardware and software Education, experience, and personal qualities We are looking for someone with: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or related field • Experience in electronic system design and development • Strong knowledge of both analog and digital system architecture • Strong understanding of signal integrity, EMC/EMI requirements, and power distribution • Experience debugging both embedded software and hardware • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written It is also a merit if you have: • Practical experience with system simulation and modeling tools • Knowledge of EMC and CE/FCC certification processes • Previous experience with engineering, audio, or accessibility products • Experience working in small, cross-functional teams As a person, you thrive in an environment where you get to take responsibility, be involved, and contribute to the bigger picture.
