As a welding instructor with us, you will combine your professional expertise with working closely with people in an educational program that leads to employment. As an instructor in our welding program, you will have a key role in our educational activities. The purpose of the program is to provide participants with knowledge and skills for work and employment in the industry. All instruction is conducted in accordance with our internal guidelines, policies, and current curricula from Skolverket. Together with a colleague, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering instruction in welding technology both theoretically and practically. You will play an active role in organizing, planning, and following up on students' apprenticeship placements. We would appreciate it if you use your network within the industrial sector to find relevant and quality apprenticeship positions for our participants. Your daily work tasks may include: • Planning and delivering instruction in welding technology, both theoretically and practically • Working goal-oriented toward course objectives • Mentoring and supporting participants in their professional development • Collaborating with colleagues to develop the educational program We offer you a meaningful assignment where your professional expertise helps people become employable and take the next step in their working lives. Required Competencies • Vocational teacher education with a focus on welding technology, or alternatively several years of experience working with different welding methods. • High personal proficiency in handling different types of welding methods. • Previous experience teaching adults.
