Welder/Assembler

About the Position Ikett Personalpartner is now seeking an experienced and versatile construction worker/welder for work both on various construction sites and in a workshop in Kristianstad. Do you enjoy practical work within steel and building construction where no two days are the same? Then this might be the position for you! In this role, you will primarily work with structural ironwork, where welding and assembly of steel structures take place at customer sites, such as assembly of beams, railings, stairs, and other steel components. The work also includes welding according to drawings as well as adaptation and on-site assembly. In addition to fieldwork, you will also perform standard workshop tasks such as manufacturing steel structures, welding, cutting, drilling, and machining in a workshop environment. Work is scheduled during daytime hours. Start date by agreement. Your Profile We are looking for someone with previous experience as a construction worker and/or welder, preferably from work in construction or industrial environments. You have good knowledge of multiple welding methods and are experienced working with structural ironwork, both in the workshop and on construction sites. Work tasks may include manufacturing and assembly of steel structures, where precision and quality are of great importance. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good experience reading drawings, particularly construction and assembly drawings for steel and building work. - You enjoy physically demanding work and have no problem working practically under varying conditions. - You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written - You can work both independently and in a team - A B-class driver's license is a requirement As a person, we want you to be responsible, goal-oriented, flexible, positive, organized, and have good teamwork skills since the work takes place at our customers' sites.
