About the Role As a welder at Vaggeryds Maskin, you will have the opportunity to work with varying tasks in manual welding. You will use MIG/MAG techniques and handle materials of different thicknesses, from 1 mm to 50 mm, including pipes, sheet metal, aluminum, and stainless steel. Because we work with smaller series, you will experience a dynamic work environment where no two days are alike. You get the chance to contribute your expertise and creativity, which is crucial for achieving our shared goals. Qualifications To be a successful candidate for this position, it is important that you have the following qualifications: Welding training and preferably a couple of years of experience as a welder or equivalent experience. Meritorious if you have industrial training. Experience with workshop work, including drilling, grinding, measuring, and cutting is desirable. Forklift and overhead bridge crane certification and the ability to read drawings are advantageous. Personal qualities that are appreciated are the ability to work independently, be handy and committed, and be able to communicate in Swedish. Responsibilities As a welder with us, your work tasks will include the following: Manual welding of various materials and structures. Working with MIG/MAG. Grinding and polishing of welded parts. Participating in varying projects and adapting your work to specific customer needs. You will be an important part of production and contribute to ensuring high quality in our work.
