Your Tasks Do you have solid welding experience and thrive in a role where quality, precision, and professional skill are the focus? Then this could be your next step! We are now seeking an experienced and self-directed welder for our customer in Oxelösund. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a modern and progressive production environment alongside skilled colleagues. About the Position In your role as a welder, you will work with manufacturing, processing, and assembly of various components. The tasks are varied and require you to work independently, carefully, and based on drawings, work orders, instructions, and applicable requirements. You will work with, among other things: MIG, MAG, and MMA welding Sheet metal and welding work according to drawings and work orders Drawing reading and work based on technical documentation Welding and assembly of components Preparation and processing of material prior to welding Self-inspection of dimensions, weld quality, and workmanship Inspection of your own work with a focus on quality and accuracy Reporting of completed work tasks according to applicable procedures Ensuring that work is performed according to planned time, quality, and delivery requirements Informing work management if delivery is at risk or if deviations occur Quality and Responsibility: Quality is an important part of the role and you are expected to take great responsibility for your own work. You should be able to identify quality risks and deviations and act when something is not right. You will, among other things: Perform self-inspections Report quality deviations Stop work when there is a quality risk, incorrect documentation, or uncertainties Ensure correct marking and traceability where required It is a requirement that you can perform welding according to quality level B, SS-EN ISO 2517. Equipment Responsibility You are responsible for your assigned welding equipment and associated equipment and perform daily maintenance of, for example, welding equipment, cables, hoses, ground clamps, and gas equipment. There may also be responsibility and daily inspection of shared equipment such as: Rollers Shear machines Exhaust equipment Other machinery within the production area Faults, damage, or service needs are reported to the responsible supervisor. Order, Organization, and 5S We are looking for someone who considers order and organization a natural part of good production work. You are responsible for ensuring that tools, fixtures, and materials are in the right place and contribute to a well-organized work environment. You will also: Assist in cleaning and waste management Participate in the company's 5S work Contribute to improving the work environment Suggest improvements regarding work methods, equipment, and work area Work Environment and Safety Safety is a natural part of the work. You must follow the company's safety instructions, procedures, and policies and use prescribed protective equipment. You are also expected to report near-misses, risks, and accidents immediately. Your Profile What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with solid welding experience who is comfortable working independently. You are careful, responsible, and quality-conscious with a professional approach to both production and safety. To be a suitable candidate for the position, we see that you have: Experience with MIG, MAG, and MMA Good drawing reading skills Experience from industrial and production environments Ability to work independently based on drawings, work orders, and instructions Experience with self-inspection and quality work Ability to weld according to quality level B, SS-EN ISO 2517 A careful and quality-conscious work approach Ability to take responsibility for both work and equipment A solution-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute to improvements Authorities and Responsibility In the role, you have the responsibility and authority to act when something affects safety, quality, or delivery. You should be able to stop work when there is a safety risk or quality deficiency, report the need for repair and service, and bring improvement suggestions to the work management.
