Welder
Do you want to work on varied projects where no two assignments are alike? Do you enjoy creating, building, and finding solutions—both in the workshop and at customer sites?
We're now looking for a Welder who wants to become part of a well-established industrial company with extensive experience in steel and industrial projects. Here you'll work with everything from unique steel structures to assembly and advanced industrial projects alongside a dedicated and experienced team.
About the Company
This is an opportunity to become part of a well-established industrial company with long experience in steel and industrial projects. The company works with everything from steel structures and industrial service to assembly and customized solutions for some of Sweden's leading industrial companies.
Here you'll be part of a company that combines high technical expertise with down-to-earth leadership where collaboration, responsibility, and long-term thinking permeate the organization. Decision-making processes are short, engagement is highly valued, and you'll have the opportunity to develop alongside the company.
About the Role
As a Welder, you'll have a varied day-to-day working with fabrication, assembly, and industrial service. One day you might be out at a customer site taking measurements for a new project, the next day you'll be fabricating parts in the workshop or assembling finished structures on-site.
You'll work both from drawings and verbal instructions, which requires you to think independently, solve problems, and find practical solutions when circumstances change.
You'll be based in Södertälje, but projects are located throughout the Greater Stockholm area.
Your work tasks include, among others:
* Fabrication of steel structures and customized solutions.
* Welding primarily in MIG/MAG.
* Assembly and industrial service at customer sites.
* Taking measurements for fabrication and assembly.
* Working from drawings and technical documentation.
* Operating workshop machinery such as press brakes, shearing machines, rollers, and pillar drills.
* Contributing to high quality and safe work practices on every project.
Who Are You?
You're a hands-on person who enjoys creating things with your hands and takes pride in work well done. You thrive in a role where you take your own responsibility and where problem-solving is a natural part of your day.
We believe you:
* have experience as a blacksmith, welder, or assembler in industry or steel.
* have good skills in MMA welding.
* can read and understand drawings.
* have experience with carbon steel and preferably also stainless steel.
* are experienced with workshop machinery.
* are self-driven, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious.
* are comfortable working both in the workshop and at customer sites.
* appreciate collaboration and contributing to good teamwork.
If you have experience in TIG or MMA welding, that's a merit, but what matters most to us is that you have solid skills in MIG/MAG welding, the right attitude, and a desire to develop.
Why You'll Thrive Here
With our client, you'll work in a company where decision-making processes are short and employees are given great trust and own responsibility. Here, engagement, collaboration, and the desire to develop are valued.
You'll be part of a company with high technical expertise, stable customer relationships, and a clear ambition to continue growing. Here you'll work on varied projects, develop your craft, and see the results of what you build.
