Sveriges Ridgymnasium AB is a stable organization that has been operating for over 20 years. Today our schools are located in four places across the country. We work purposefully to stay at the forefront of developing our schools and our pedagogy, and collaborative learning is high on our agenda. Sveriges Ridgymnasium's vision is to be Sweden's best equestrian gymnasium, and our goal is to give our students the very best conditions to develop their interest in horses and their talent, while they receive a solid upper secondary education that will take them forward in life, regardless of their path. At our schools we create tomorrow's riders and horse people with a solid educational foundation for both further studies and working life.

In Svedala, approximately 30 employees work with approximately 160 students distributed across the school's three grade levels. Students study the Natural Resources Program, specialization in Horse Management.
What You Will Work With
As our special education teacher, you will work in a promotional, preventative, and interventional capacity at the individual, group, and organizational level to create conditions for all students to achieve as much as possible based on their abilities.
The role includes, among other things:
Following and working in accordance with the school's values and guiding principles: Quality, Participation, and Joy.
Conducting pedagogical assessments, developing action plans, and following up and evaluating decided interventions on behalf of the principal.
Actively contributing to work with accommodations and targeted support for students in need.
Supporting students' achievement of goals and their right to accessible learning through guidance, consultation, and professional development of school staff.
When needed, mentor and provide professional development to staff in order to improve the quality and equity of instruction.
Stay well-informed about current research, governing documents, and developments in the special education field.
Actively contribute to the school's systematic quality assurance work.
We are looking for you who are trained as a special education teacher and want to work 60-80% with a start in August.
