Our Operations
Sveriges Ridgymnasium AB is an established organization that has been operating for over 20 years. Today our schools are located in three places across the country. We work purposefully to stay at the forefront of developing our schools and our pedagogy, and collaborative learning is high on our agenda. Sveriges Ridgymnasium's vision is to be Sweden's best equestrian upper secondary school, and our goal is to provide our students with the very best conditions to develop their interest in horses and their talent, while they receive a solid upper secondary education that prepares them for life ahead, regardless of their chosen path. At our schools, we create tomorrow's riders and horse professionals with a strong educational foundation for both further studies and professional life.
Our guiding principles—quality, participation, and joy—permeate the work throughout the school.
We place great value on your personal commitment and care that you thrive, develop, and feel well. For your security, we have collective agreements.
In Svedala, approximately 30 employees work with approximately 160 students distributed across the school's three grades. Students study the Natural Resources Program, with a focus on horse management.
What You'll Be Working With
Work tasks include, for example, turning horses in and out of pasture, mucking out stalls, feeding, cleaning, horse care, exercising horses, and other tasks common to stable work. The position also includes serving as a positive, supportive, and inspiring mentor to students in the stable environment who are studying the natural resources program (under the guidance and direction of a qualified vocational instructor).
The position is full-time. Weekend and evening work are part of the role. The position requires that you have the ability to take responsibility for the stable and horses.
We believe that you, as an applicant, have an understanding and insight into what is required to work in a teaching environment that is safe and secure for upper secondary students—and horses.
