We are now seeking a Swedish language teacher for Skansenskolan in Mörbylånga, an F–9 school in the UNESCO World Heritage landscape of Southern Öland, as a parental leave replacement. Mörbylånga Municipality is a development-oriented employer with approximately 1,200 employees working together to make a difference in people's everyday lives. As a Swedish language teacher at Skansenskolan, you will work with grades 7–9 and become an important part of the school's pedagogical activities. You will contribute to students' language, reading, and writing development as well as to a safe and academically motivating learning environment. Your responsibilities will include: Planning, implementing, and evaluating Swedish language instruction Working together with colleagues in collaborative learning Stimulating students' development in language, reading, and writing Contributing to a safe and structured school environment The school works with a holistic approach to learning where both knowledge development and social development are in focus. Teaching is characterized by curiosity, creativity, and student participation, and students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning. This is a consulting assignment through StudentConsulting replacing a parental leave. The position is a temporary contract with a minimum of 50% full-time equivalent, with the possibility of full-time employment for the right candidate. Employment is valid through December 18, 2026. Work takes place on weekdays during daytime hours and may vary depending on the school's needs. Work with children and youth requires a background check from the Police Register.
