JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for someone who is passionate about preparing quality, adapted, and delicious home-cooked meals for our seniors in the municipality. As a cook with us, you need to be flexible and adaptable, have a positive mindset, and be solution-oriented. This fall we have four kitchens, one located in Skee and the other three more centrally located. Therefore, it is important to have a driver's license and access to a car. If someone is absent, you may need to be flexible and switch kitchens on short notice. The main base will be in Skee, where we prepare approximately 1,100 portions per week in this kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks, and texture-modified meals, packing meal boxes, dishwashing, and also share responsibility for maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen and ensuring that self-control procedures are followed. Good computer skills are an advantage, as the work includes food ordering and other administrative tasks. We are looking for a cook who will primarily prepare specialized diets, preferably with large-scale kitchen experience. It is important that you feel confident working independently while also having good teamwork abilities. Whether you have several years of experience or just completed your cook certification, you are warmly welcome to apply. A trial employment period applies. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with documented upper secondary education within restaurant/institutional cooking or other chef training that the employer deems equivalent. You must also have knowledge of food legislation, HACCP, and specialized diets, as well as knowledge of food hygiene and diet cooking. It is a merit if you have two years of experience working as a cook. It is important that you feel confident working independently while also having good teamwork abilities. For you, good cooperation with your colleagues and others you meet daily is important. You are solution-oriented and have no problem adapting during the day and stepping in where needed. You have an open and inclusive demeanor that makes your surroundings feel welcome. Your hospitality contributes to creating positive interactions. The work requires a driver's license and access to a car. You must also be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
