JOB RESPONSIBILITIES At Gymnasieskolan Knut Hahn, we are now seeking a dedicated and skilled Swedish as a Second Language teacher who wants to be part of our operations and contribute to students' knowledge development in a safe and inclusive learning environment. The position is time-limited, and we hope you can start working with us in December through the summer. As a Swedish as a Second Language teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction based on curriculum documents and students' needs. You work to develop students' language, communication skills, and study skills, and create conditions for high expectations and good goal achievement. You will be part of one of the school's program teams where you contribute to students' development together with colleagues from different subjects and professions. At the same time, you are an important part of the Swedish as a Second Language subject team, where you together develop instruction and the subject's quality. At Gymnasieskolan Knut Hahn, we have full-time mentors, which means that mentoring is not included in the position. However, collaboration with mentors, student welfare services, and other colleagues is an important part of the assignment to create the best possible conditions for students' learning and well-being. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Is a certified teacher with authorization to teach Swedish as a Second Language at upper secondary level. • Has the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. • Is committed, organized, and development-oriented. • Sees the value of collaboration and actively contributes to both program teams and subject teams. • Has an inclusive approach and a strong focus on students' learning and development.
