Support Technician for a Large Public Organization

We are now recruiting a Support Technician for a large public organization. In this role, you will assist users throughout the organization with various types of IT-related questions and problems. The cases may include fault reports, orders, user support, requests, wishes, and management of user access rights. You will work in a support function where customer contact and problem-solving are at the center. Contact with users occurs largely by phone, and cases can range from simple user support to more complex troubleshooting. You enjoy solving problems, researching information, and above all communicating clearly and professionally with both users and colleagues. All cases are documented and managed in the organization's case management system. Work hours are currently Monday–Friday, distributed across two shifts: 07.00–16.00 and 08.00–17.00. Work hours may change based on operational needs. You will collaborate with other team members within the support function as well as with various IT departments and operations within the organization. Responsibilities As a support technician, you will work with tasks including: Helping users with questions, problems, and troubleshooting via phone, remote support, and on-site. Troubleshooting and providing support for computers, printers, and other IT equipment. Installing and uninstalling software on new and existing IT workstations. Documenting and registering user cases in the case management system according to applicable service levels. Collaborating with other support staff and IT functions. Contributing to high customer satisfaction through professional and solution-oriented support. The Position The position is located at the organization's office in a medium-sized Swedish city. Travel within the organization's operational area may occur, so a Class B driver's license is required.
