The IT Department at Stockholm University consists of approximately 120 employees who have overall responsibility for Sweden's largest university's IT environment. This includes developing, managing, deploying, and monitoring platforms, systems, and services that support academics, education, research, and administration. Responsibilities As a support technician, you will be part of our team responsible for the university's IT support. The team has high technical competence and there is great variety in the cases we handle. Here are some examples of what Support handles: staffing phone support during business hours handling incoming tickets via a ticket management system providing support and service to employees and students documenting, updating/maintaining, and publishing support documentation answering common questions that arise in a larger IT environment. We work in teams with collaboration as our guiding principle, and we want you to share the same approach to collaboration and knowledge sharing, working together toward established goals. You will also participate in efforts to increase the competence of the organization's employees as we bring our knowledge closer to our users. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: completed secondary education previous experience working with technical support good knowledge of TCP/IP and DHCP management very good knowledge of different operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written good experience working with ticket management systems experience with knowledge management, for example writing and managing user guides experience working with telephony and case handling systems. Meritorious: experience with Jamf MDM, Intune, and/or SCCM experience with Network Administration experience with Cisco IOS or equivalent.
