Job Responsibilities In your role as a support consultant, you will be in contact with various departments and professional roles, providing support for their daily use of our IT systems. You will primarily solve questions and problems that users have via telephone. Since this position involves daily contact with people, the most important aspects of your work are providing good service with a focus on excellent customer care. Your responsibilities also include documentation and registration of cases. About the Workplace The Administration for Digitalization Support is tasked with delivering IT services and managing healthcare and operations systems for Region Västmanland's various departments. The role also includes leading, implementing, and managing central development projects and actively participating in national IT development work. IT Service and Support is one of the units under this administration, which also includes Cosmic support. Staffing for the unit is scheduled during business hours 07.00-17.00 Monday through Friday. If you have previous work experience in healthcare and the Windows platform, this is highly meriting. For this position, you need to have good computer skills, preferably experience with the Cosmic journal system, and enjoy problem-solving. It is advantageous if you have previously worked with similar support tasks, in various case management systems, and have knowledge of software and hardware. Since the work involves daily contact with users and colleagues, we see that you can communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We appreciate that you are motivated and engaged in achieving operational goals and that you can work at a certain pace. You are calm and attentive in your interactions, while striving to deliver solutions. Furthermore, you have good pedagogical skills when helping others with both small and large problems. You enjoy working in a team and are flexible in collaborating, helping each other within the group, and supporting other IT areas. We place great importance on personal suitability. Employment Terms Temporary position: Full-time, 9 months with possibility of extension Working hours: Daytime Placement location: Västerås There is an opportunity in this position to work partially remotely when operations allow.
