Support Engineer wanted for Nila Groceries – Stockholm Region Nila Groceries is a growing e-commerce company in the food industry. Our e-commerce platform is built on Magento, and we are now seeking an experienced Support Engineer who wants to take full responsibility for the operation, further development, and integrations of our platform. The role involves full technical responsibility for our Magento-based webstore – from daily operations and support to integrations, security, and further development of the user interface. You will be a key person in our continued digital growth work and collaborate closely with our e-commerce, logistics, and customer experience team. We are embarking on an exciting journey where we will soon expand our e-commerce operations further, and you will have the opportunity to help shape that development. Responsibilities Responsible for daily operations, troubleshooting, and support of our Magento platform Develop, maintain, and ensure quality of integrations with DHL (shipping), Swish, and other payment solutions (payment gateways) Manage and further develop integration with Clerk (product recommendations/search) and Lipscore (product reviews) Test and evaluate new integrations and third-party solutions before deployment Carry out and ensure quality of Magento upgrades and ongoing installation of security patches Further develop the webstore theme and user interface (UI) with CSS and JavaScript Ensure platform stability, performance, and security Collaborate with store, logistics, and marketing teams on technical solutions that support business growth Document solutions and procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of our digital systems Qualifications Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) or equivalent IT education At least 10 years of relevant work experience in system development/support, including documented experience with Magento Practical experience with integrations with shipping providers (e.g. DHL), payment services (e.g. Swish, payment gateways), and Clerk, Lipscore, or equivalent systems Experience with Magento upgrades and security patch management Good knowledge of CSS and JavaScript for theme development and UI customization Good knowledge of PHP 8.0 or later Fluent in Swedish and English Accustomed to working independently with full responsibility for technical operations and support Meritorious Experience from e-commerce in groceries/food industry Knowledge of additional programming languages or e-commerce platforms beyond Magento Experience with business systems or digital platforms in an operations-focused support role Knowledge of a South Indian regional language (e.g. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam) is an asset We Offer Close collaboration in a small, committed team where you quickly take on your own responsibility and see the results of your work An unpretentious work environment with straight talk, high participation, and a short distance between idea and decision Hybrid work environment with the opportunity to combine on-site and remote work Balance between work and leisure, and collective agreement terms Competence development and the opportunity to grow with the company's digital journey Community in everyday life – coffee breaks, team meetings, and a culture where we help each other We value collaboration, open communication, and making sure all voices are heard, regardless of role.
