We are looking to expand our Jakkal team with an experienced Supplier Quality Manager.
As an SQM, you will work in a varied and stimulating environment, with internal contact points across multiple departments and functions as well as external contacts with our customers.
Our customers range from small to large enterprises, many of which are world leaders in their respective fields.
The role requires strong knowledge and breadth within the quality area, preferably with experience in supplier and production quality.
Your responsibilities
Examples of your tasks:
Establish good collaboration on quality work with customers.
Conduct quality audits internally and at supplier facilities.
Ensure that customer quality requirements are met and establish appropriate quality requirements for suppliers.
Drive corrective actions/improvement programs together with suppliers.
Act as moderator in internal cross-functional investigations.
Participate in and create procurement/inspection preparations as needed.
Handle complaints for materials that do not meet specifications and review suppliers' complaint responses.
Manage non-conformances reported in production.
Understand standard requirements and translate their meaning to the organization.
Travel may be required within Sweden and Europe, depending on the supplier base.
Your profile
We would like you to have:
A degree in engineering or other relevant education, or equivalent work experience within the quality field.
Experience with quality work and practical knowledge of classic quality tools such as PPAP, MSA, etc.
Experience with LEAN.
Blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and measurement techniques.
Familiarity with various problem-solving methods.
Six Sigma experience is a merit.
Good ability to express yourself in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
We are looking for someone with an interest in quality issues and a desire to develop within the quality field. We view previous experience in areas such as design, production, and project management positively.
